The Artist
Bryanna Christl Wright or Bree as she prefers to go by, grew up in Arlington Texas. This is where she first came into contact with clay and art in general. In her early years she would paint and draw with her grandmother. Most things she painted then were usually gifts for family members for various holidays. But once she entered school most of her art was primarily just art for the sake of creating. And once in high school Bree would start working with clay. The things she made were strange and amateur, but highly creative and fun. From then one she realized how much of a passion she had for the medium and sought to further herself in this field. However, in order to please her family she went into nursing school at Navarro College. But after failing the primary classes twice she finally got to pursue in her real passion: ceramics. After graduating with an Associates in Art from Navarro she moved to Denton and enrolled in the University of North Texas' ceramic program. She is currently a senior at UNT and plans to graduate in December 2019.
